Edmonton Peripheral Neuropathy Treatment

A Difficult Diagnosis, But We Can Help

Peripheral-NeuropathyDebilitating and distressing, peripheral neuropathy is characterized by impaired nerve endings in the feet, lower legs and hands. This condition has devastating effects, causing:

  • Intense burning pain, particularly at night
  • Numbness
  • Sensitivity to touch
  • Tingling
  • Weakness

It can affect your sense of space, balance and coordination. Sleep is often disrupted, and your emotional well-being and quality of life are seriously affected.

Don’t Continue to Live With Pain

Peripheral neuropathy is an incapacitating condition that over 70% of diabetics suffer from.

The great news is, you don’t need to resort to medications that cover up symptoms but don’t address the cause of your pain.

Dr. Niz has developed a highly effective program to target peripheral neuropathy that seeks to give you your life back. Financing is available for this service.

Getting Started On Your Treatment

You don’t need a diagnosis of peripheral neuropathy to see Dr. Niz. You will be tested based on the Toronto Clinical Scoring System for peripheral neuropathy to see if you are a candidate for treatment. There is no charge for you to come in and have the test done.

If you are a candidate for treatment, we’ll recommend a peripheral neuropathy program that includes K-Laser, vibration therapy and massage therapy on your feet and calves. Dr. Niz also will also recommend supplements and take-home exercises to speed your healing. We’ll also complete a full examination that looks at your spine and nervous system to see if there are any problems present that may be related to your neuropathy.
